RESIDENTIAL APPLICATIONS
Much of New York’s residential intercom market is dominated by amplifier systems utilizing 3, 4, or 5 conductor wiring providing a “Talk/Listen” functionality in addition to a remote door release. The remaining market utilizes BUS-based two or four conductor wiring to provide audio or audio/video systems. Our experience with all versions of these systems is second to none. Often times we are hired to identify and repair confusing (and daunting) “spaghetti” wiring in basements. This approach can help extend the life of a system for a building. When a building has decided to update their system, we can provide a free estimate with cut sheets and a wiring plan, greatly improving the security of a building.
COMMERCIAL APPLICATIONS
Office spaces need intercom systems too! Usually presented as single or dual door stations with a centralized answering station, Cosmic Fischer can design and install a system that connects your entrances to the reception. We can even design a system that’s IP-based, taking advantage of existing network infrastructure to lower costs.
SERVICING
When systems break down, the complaints roll in. Interference or neighboring work nearby the intercom control system can cause a system to go down. A broken power supply or electric strike at the front door to a building will result in many tenant calls to management. Our 24/7 service responds to all concerns, with the ability to troubleshoot, repair, and replace parts on the fly.
