Cosmic Fischer’s low voltage department has been around for more than twenty years, and CCTV has been a major part of our offerings ever since. Our abilities span diagnostics/repairs of existing systems, simple multi-channel installations, to multi-site, multi-technology installations linked together by software. Our capable team consists of networking experts, system architects, installers, and programmers – together, we are a team that can handle any project, small or large.
ANALOG/TVI SYSTEMS
While most of today’s new installations utilize structured category cables (such as Cat 5e/6 standards & fiber) as the backbone of their CCTV systems, many older systems have existing RG59 based coaxial wiring structures that are expensive to replace. Cosmic Fischer can provide multiple approaches to update your existing system by either installing higher resolution cameras and DVRs (digital video recorders) over your existing cabling or providing a hybrid solution that converts your camera system over to an IP based product, allowing you to expand with IP cameras and structured cables in the future.
IP SYSTEMS
Commonly referred to as “NVR” solutions (network video recorders), this type of the system is the standard approach for any new CCTV system. The benefits include better quality cameras, smart features, lower overall cabling cost, and the ability to utilize modern networking structures to build out a surveillance package. Our knowledge doesn’t just end with layout and product choice – we are able to deliver on our designs without the need to hire a secondary contractor. Core drilling a high-rise? We can do that, too.
